Choosing a Dating Site
July 21st, 2008With so many different dating sites available on the Internet, it can be difficult to choose the one that is right for you. How do you make that decision? What criteria do you use when choosing a dating site? Some of the things you may want to consider include:
• Price
• Features
• Number of potential partners
• Type of people using the site
• Percentage of successful matches
If you’re going to pay for a dating site, you certainly want to make sure that the site you use has enough members that meet your criteria to make it worthwhile. For example, you don’t want to pay $40 a month for a dating site and only find one or two matches in an entire month. You want to make sure that the site you choose has enough members that appeal to you in order to make it worthwhile. You can discover this by choosing a site that allows you to view profiles free. Follow it for a few weeks to see how many you see that appeal to your interests before you decide to join and pay the fee. You can also join and follow the profiles and see how many are interested in you.
When viewing the dating sites, don’t look at just one. Even if you have already made a decision on the one you prefer, look at others in order to discover if you are really choosing the site that is going to be the most beneficial. You want to allow yourself enough of a selection to know you’re getting a fair price and enough profiles from which to choose so that you aren’t wasting your money on something that isn’t going to work for you. Follow the law of averages and choose the site that has enough profiles that match your requirements to make it an economically sound decision.
